Visually Impaired Children

Visually Impaired Children

Have a Heart Adoption – Visually Impaired Children programme has been established to improve living conditions and provide education to the children with a sight loss. Their situation in Sub-Saharan African countries is catastrophic, especially in rural areas. The kids suffer from hunger and social exclusion and receive no help. The only centre for visually impaired in Rwanda is located in Kibeho and is run by the Franciscan Sisters from Poland. Thanks to your donations, we teach the kids the Braille language, prepare them to cope with everyday life and cover the costs of rehabilitation. The monthly fee is €26. The children receive our support through this programme up to 18 years of age or until the graduation.

Like with all our Have a Heart Adoption programmes, the adoptive parent receives a file with all the details and information about the child including photos. There is a possibility to exchange the letters and create a long lasting relationship with your child.

Please submit the registration form, if you wish to join the programme.
